Ready to Retire is on a distinguished road
Default Boyle County

I am looking at property in Parksville Kentucky to build our retirement home. My wife and I have chosen to move from New Hampshire to Boyle County to retire. Parksville seems peaceful with all the necessities near by in Danville. Can you tell me anything about Parksville? Thanks

Default Danville area

I don't know Parksville specifically, but I lived in Danville about 2 years ago, and it is a very peaceful, quiet, safe community. I think the area is very nice and you should be very happy retiring in Boyle County.

If you like the "mountains" better, as opposed to the rolling hills/farm area of Kentucky, you might want to check into Rowan County (Morehead), Middlesboro area (at the KY/Tenn. line) or even Hazard, KY. All are beautiful mountainous and green areas!
