When I lived in Richmond I went to Berea a few times and it was a great little city. You can get candles that cost $20 in Lexington for $5 down there, as well as alot of other hand made things.

I think Berea is Kentucky's miniature version of Asheville - a mountain town with an artsy vibe. Boone Square is simply an awesome, with Boone Tavern, Warren A May arts and crafts store, and several nice coffee houses/ sit down restaurants, downtown Berea has several more crafts stores. With the college there it has a neat vfibe, it's where college town hippies meet small town Appalachia

London may be ranked 4th but our downtown has grown to be very impressive in just the past 5 years. It's something we can be proud of here. A lot of work is still going on downtown. An impressive streetscape project and a large new fountain in front of City Hall.
