Default anyone know aqbout the Pruden?Fonde area?

I did a little research on this area and found that it was a dump site for coal and coke refuse...but just a little outside of it ,maybe a mile or so in all directions..in other words the land that borders the refuse sites...would anyone of you know about the land prices there? or any hunting camps for sale there? Any help would be appreciated!

I lived near that area about 40 years ago, it was coal country back in the old days. These areas are just a wide place in the road out in the woods...lol..
Have no idea what the land prices are for that area though.

LOL, not many know where that is unless you've lived around the area of Middlesboro. Pruden and Fonde are just west of Middlesboro on hwy (county road) 74 near the TN line. Just wide places in the road out in the woods.

My Mom lived there many, many years ago, like when she was a small child. I am fairly sure that I saw a book on Pruden the last time we went down home and took a ride over to Cumberland Gap, Tn

You may be able to find out about the book by going to Cumberland Gap General Store_Home page They have several links on their site or you could call or email them with your question.
