Thumbs up London, Kentucky

My wife and I went to the annual Openhouse at the London-Corbin Airport last month. We live in Nashville and both are professional aviation photographers. I am good friends with the airport director in London and had talked at length about the city pripr to coming up. Originally, I am from Central City, Kentucky over in the western portion of the state where the Everly Brothers are from (my second cousins) but had always heard about London. So I was personally looking forward to visiting. London always impressed me as a somewhat progressive city with more amenities than it "should" have for a city its size. It certainly lived up to my expectations. So much so that my wife and I went back up this weekend for pictures of downtown London. What a great little town and one I wouldn't mind spending some more time in when I get that chance. Everyone was very nice and very welcoming to say the least. I am still in the process of editing the pictures, but I wanted to share a few with you all and give you a link to follow for more.

I just want to say thanks to those on here from the area for a taking such pride in your community. I could only hope that Central City will ever achieve that same feeling one day. Now, the photos!

Once again, thanks for a great weekend. I would recomend London to anyone passing through on I-75!
