You might want to try flying into Louisville, driving toward Cincinnati until you hit Hwy 127 to Frankfort (the capitol city), then on to Versailles, Richmond, and Berea. See which ones interest you the most and stop over in them for a day or two on your way back to Louisville. I like them all, and the tour will give you a good mix of possibilities to consider. Good luck.

All of Ky is great, but the Lexington area, including Paris, Versailles, Nicholasville, Winchester, would be my choice.
My parents are both from Ky, I was raised in Ohio, went to college in Boston, med school in New Haven, Ct, residency in NYC, but I like Ky the most [parents retired there]. Great cost of living; nice people; very "uncrowded". hope to hear back! john m |
