Seashell lady is on a distinguished road
Default Looking for room near Churchill Downs

Will be working the Kentucky Derby,and Need room for May 2, 3, and 4th.
Quiet middleaged lady. Best of references. Might be looking to move there. Thanks for any help.

Whoa, you unfortunately waited way too late. These rooms book a year in advance. Even the dumpiest budget motel will charge you 200 a night, that is if they have any rooms. Decent hotels are 1000 a night. I would search all the major hotels websites and look at S. Indiana as well. Your best bet may be Shelbyville, KY or Scottsburg, IN for a decent hotel at a fair price. Corydon, IN is a good option too. People forget how close that is and forget to look at rooms there. Another option is posting on Craigslist, and someone may invite you to stay at their house. Most people around here are good people, but being a female, I would worry about this unless you first met them in a public place.
