Small bank or credit union (Florence, Edgewood: centers, offices, medical center)

I currently bank with Chase and I want to get away from that big bank type of place. I'm looking for a small bank with very few locations or a credit union in or around the Florence area.

St. Elizabeth Medical Center has a great credit union. The main location is in Edgewood. Not sure if anyone can join, but it wouldn't hurt to give them a call.

I checked the SEMC FCU website, and they have a list of member groups. I have cut & pasted the information below.

If you don't meet any of these requirements, there are other relatively small institutions in the area. Bank of Kentucky is the first one that comes to mind, but there are others, too. Good luck in your search!

SEMC Membership Information
To be eligible for membership at SEMC Federal Credit Union you must either be employed by one of the SEG (Select Employee Groups) or be a family or household member of an employee.

Select Employee Groups:
St. Elizabeth Hospital, St Luke Hospital, Tristate, Summit, Transcare, Independent Anesthesiologists, City of Edgewood, Commonwealth Orthopedics Centers, Dr George Miller Office, Dr John Eldridge Office, Internal Medicine, Patient Choice, Patient First Physicians Group, Pediatric Care Of KY, Cinci Hematology - Oncology, Pediatric Dental Center, Advance Surgical Care, or Premier Family Medicine.
