Default 4-Wheelin' in KY

Someone posed this question to me and while I knew a "tiny" bit of info, I know there are people with a wealth of info regarding dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, etc.

Anyone out there know of particularly good areas for this type of weekend activity?? Where it's located (besides out your back doors!) and is anyone familiar with the yearly Jelico Mountain thing at the Tennessee border? I've heard of doonebuggies/Jeeps/Mudder trucks, but not sure of the details..

Any help is greatly appreciated!

The "Land Between the Lakes" area of south western Kentucky has and OHV (off highway vehicle) trails. You can check out the following web sites for more information.
http://www.lbl.org/OHVTrails.html

While in the area you should check out the best kept secret. The small, friendly town of Cadiz, KY. whcih is located in Trigg County.
Enjoy the areas Barkley Lake State Resort Park that has a lodge, convention center, marina, camping areas, beach and marina.
I hope I have helped.

Also might want to check out evarts KY. Great trails mapped out for different levels and you can ride your bike in the city streets also.

Here are a couple more, and although they are in TN, the are just south of the KY border. Both are very nice and easy to get to.

Ride Royal Blue ATV Resort and Campground in Pioneer, TN

Coal Creek / Windrock in Oliver Springs TN
