Remember, we are the ones that cling to our guns and religion, etc. No stupid lame apology from me.

That seems to be a typical response when posters want to discredit data that is pertinant and is relevant to the topic being discussed in the thread.

We may form an opinion based on someone's data, but dismissing it with those phrases , tells me someone can't face facts.

And my response to this... what does it matter, and who really cares?

I have to say that if the facts show that rural Kentuckians are more prejudiced than other US citizens (outside of the deep South), then it matters a lot and all of us should care.

I don't judge anyone by anything except good manners, the woman asked a question and I answered it as I saw it. I'm sick and tired of race playing into everything and I really don't think telling me not to move to Kentucky is condusive to good race relations especially when you haven't even moved in yet, maybe you think it should be devoid of all non blacks and hispanics, I don't know, already your'e telling me to stay out of two states . I lived in Richmond for a few years and I liked it very much. You folks seem to protest too much. I wouldnt' move to Kentucky because it just isn't my kind of place, not because you said so, if you tell everyone you don't agree with not to move there it would be a pretty boring and opinionated place. I'm sorry you took my post as being racist, it was just my opinion and wasn't directed at you anyway, I thought that is what she asked for, not you, some just hang around post watching to show how politically correct and non racist they are. I didn't know this was a message board like any other message board, I thought if people asked your opinions you could give them without a pitt bull watchdog checking out the posts, one persdon said its a racve baiting trap, don't answer and another woman said pretty much the same thing I said yet my post was zeroed in on because I didn't live there yet, although that doesn't seem to stop you from telling me to stay out of Kentucky or the other Governor of Kentucky who replied to me first. The reason I am posting now is because I received an email from the administrator asking me to reply because some one replied to my post and in perentisis it said (answer truthfully) as soon as I finish this post I am going to email her and tell her you can't do that anymore on this board, you have to be politically correct and lie. In all the years I've been posting here , except for a years break , I have never been called a racist. I'm a Domincan/norwegian from Brooklyn, I have friends of all sizes shapes and colors, and I am sick of race baiting and racism talk from people who really dont' know anything about what racism is and I don't mean you,I'm sure you do, I mean the other pit bull that replied to my email and also told me not to move there, they have a lot of Mayors in Danville. When you tell a person you don't want them in your state you just show your bias and ignorance considering you are not a resident yet, your neighbors should be thrilled that you are taking over the protection of their state and town already.

I wish you luck in your new home Sir, I'm sure you'll be very happy there. I really hope you are. Good Luck to you.

This is a courtesy notice that there have been new posts following your post in the thread "How well are African Americans treated in KY? (please respond truthfully)" at City-Data.com Forum (now averaging over 19,000 posts/day!) since your last log in on December 28, 2009.

Cheers!

The above is the reason I am replying to this email . I will not reply again.
