The people representing us which happen to be the minority are telling the majority what we have the right to vote on. That should be a slap in the face to everybody on both sides of the issue. Cincinnati is going to have one by next year. Casinos already have their eye on more spots here giving us a chance to catch up in this race if were not denied our right to vote again. Are they gonna wait til every bordering state has a convenient gambling location for Kentuckians? People here are still doing it in the back of bars or in peoples houses anyway. Make it safer.

The reason I mentioned lotery listing their winning jackpot as being phoney is because it is.

Suppose they say somene won------" the $100 million Jackpot"-------, they then show the winner on tv with a fake check of $100 million.

The fact is, in order to get that winnings in one check, he would have to take-----cash amount-----which is usually only 50% of the announced jackpot.
Also, before issuing him that check, they would with hold/subtract Federal and state taxes.

Thus a guy winning a $100 million jackpot could never recieve a final check bigger than about $33 million.

It's like the state saying you won a $500,000 house.
Then figuring the total cost of payments plus interest over 30 years, adding them all together, and it equals $500,000.

In reality, that house only was worth $250,000 cash to begin with.

I've been buying lottery tickets for over 20 years and researched how they work.

( referring to lotteries with jackpots in the millions of dollars)

I agree with your math - It just seemed obvious that the other 'half' was squandered money as part of all the leftover profits of the lottery system.

There is that one and the ten commandments and there's one near me that says Jesus Saves and has been there as long as I can remember. If I can find the picture I'll post it.

Usually those who are against it are already rich, and don't know what it's like to toil in the sun, physical labor, to earn a living...

The act like it's still the days of leave it to beaver...where one could rise up and earn a decent living making $1400 a month...

Life is short..and when you physical labor to earn a living, life or healthy life to do so, is even shorter...

the lottery and even gambling is the only way some will ever achieve the next level...

Why deny people that chance, that hope...

Cause unless your some cute metrosexual dude out of harvard, no ones going to give you much of a chance these days, to earn big...

Doesn't seem like he does much for people in this world, this realm...and I'm a believer...but I know what I see...

Good people loose their homes, while cheating tax or accountants, scam millions...

God won't even stop an induvisual from commiting suicide...

how can a god just stand there, and watch someone commit suicide, and not stop it?

Yet laws of gambling are built around such a god...that just watches people jump from buildings and die on 9/11...

gross...
