My husband and I are thinking of relocating from the Chicago area )for a number of reasons that I won't bore you with!). We've looked at a couple different states, but the economic status is a problem. I'm a teacher, so finding a job is really hard in some places. Because lots of states (definitely IL) are broke and not funding schools no one is hiring. What's it like in KY?

One place you may want to keep your eye on is the Ft. Knox area. I would imagine they would need a whole mess of new teachers with BRAC arriving this summer.
