I just wanted to throw out a couple more curious names...
Let's not forget Swan Pond and Stinking Creek in Knox County.
I've always enjoyed those.

There is actually a "New York, Kentucky" in Ballard County.
Wonder if any cab drivers live there?

Just for the Record... there is no Peewee Valley Kentucky. There is however, Pewee Valley. State spent a bunch of money recently because they put the mispelled name on several Interstate Highway signs.

My family has long been associated with a creek officially known as "No Creek" in Ohio County. Poverty is a town in McLean County as is Island (once called Island Station) due to the fact that the town sitting high on a hill was surrounded by the flood waters of the Green River occasionally.
FYI: I grew up in McLean Co.

My dad says western Kentucky is unique. Where else can you go to Moscow, Cuba, and Mexico, and be home by lunch?
