Default Wedding at Jetty at Grand Rivers, Kentucky Lake

My daughter is getting married 6-22 at the jetty Grand Rivers, Kentucky Lake, and just found out there is not electricity there. Wondering if anyone knows of weddings held here, and what did they do for electricity problems. We would like music for the bridal party to go down the aisle and a favorite song. Does anyone know of any place close for rentals of PA systems, speakers, and etc?
Thank you!

Can't make promises but try contacting Livingston Co government at Livingston County, Kentucky -- Main Page they might be able to answer your question.

Far as a PA goes you'll likely have to go to Paducah to get one which is about 20 miles away. Yellowpages.com and/or whitepages.com should help you with that search.

The technology is out there--lately our local funeral homes have been using a battery powered PA system for large grave-side services at the cemetaries.

My girlfriend got married down by a river, hence no electricity. They had a boombox that ran on batteries.........??? It worked out perfect! And it was plenty loud. Nowadays with the technology we have this shouldn't be a problem, by the way Grand Rivers is an awesome community. I think u can also play music thru a laptop, or dvd player on batteries.

Thank you for your help. I will do some more investigating. I do hear Grand Rivers is a nice community and a very pretty sight for a wedding.
