I'm just outside Nashville, but my Dad was raised out in Stoney Fork and we still own quite a bit of land out there up along Pine Mountain. Much of our family is still in the area - Dad is buried in Pinelawn Cemetary - and we stay in Middlesboro when we come in for a visit. I have many good memories of playing in the creek with my cousins catching crawdads and sitting out on the porch listening to my older cousins and other kin pickin'. I couldn't live there fulltime because I need to be 5 minutes away from major shopping and such, but I love to visit.
