I-65 accidents and what to do (Louisville, Shepherdsville: home, university, live)

On Derby Day, Saturday, 05/03/2008 another vehicle cross-over accident took lives on I-65.
This time it was mile marker 119 near Shepherdsville. 2 more people are dead because the lawmakers of this state can't see the importance of median barriers.
My family and I suffered our loss on 03/19/2008 near mile marker 61. My wife, daughter and a family of three were killed that day.
The cheapest (and probably safest) barrier system is the kind with cables used in Louisville. At a cost of between $180,000 and $250,000 per mile, there in no excuse for not erecting these cables on the most dangerous sections of this interstate.

up here in indiana I-65 between junction 123 and junction 172 is one of the most deadly stretches of interstate in the country atleast 20 people are killed each year on this section of interstate mostly due to vehicle cross over accidents. years ago the state promised to install cable barrier systems that would prevent vehicles from crossing over to the other side. and the state has done NOTHING. i to am sorry for your loss and as citizen of one of the most deadly stretches of road in the country we demand action not only here but everywhere!! the states need to protect their people not neglect them!!

One of the victims of the accident on Saturday was a college student here at WKU. She was going home to Louisville. How sad and tragic.

I have posted on the college newspaper web site and hope that it was approved and printed. My oldest daughter went to WKU and made that same damned trip at least once a month. The students at that university should be especially involved in this cause.
