Smile Apartments/Houses in Calhoun,KY

My boyfriend and I are from Southern Illinois and are planning to move to Calhoun over the summer. We are looking for some apartments (or houses) to live in. Starting with the cheapest and working our way up. I'd appreciate any information on where I could find this. We're planning on taking a trip down there sometime soon and looking at places, but I would just like to have an idea beforehand.

Thanks again.

Kelsey

Wow... Your move will double the population of McLean Co. I am from Calhoun, in the 1950's, 60's, 70's & 80's, it was a wonderful place to grow a kid. I think it still is, but since I haven't lived there the past 20 years, I wouldn't really know any more.

Good luck to you!

I grew up in Madisonville KY just southwest of Calhoun in Hopkins County and still have relatives there. From my experience moving to smaller towns in this situation....your best bet would be to contact a realty company in the area you are moving to. They can guide to any house rentals or apartment rentals....or at least point you to a contact locally. In these small towns...there often isnt much advertisement of these captured by all those national apartment or home search engines.

I saw this one in nearby Livermore.

FAIRWAY REALTY

I did see upon checking that area classifieds for rentals and such would likely fall under the nearest daily paper which is in Owensboro. So you might want to search for the Owensboro paper classified on the web.

I did just find this link to a place....
