The reason I'm asking is because my husband told me he won't move to Kentucky if there were no dunkin donuts. I read somewhere that some states do not have dunkin donuts. And krispy kremes moved out of Philly.
LOL! That is too funny. We have both, although you may want to research before hand to see where they are located becuase they are certainly not on every street corner. You might try the website for both of these places to see if they have a location search.
Dunkin' Donuts (according to their official website):

2 4500 S 3RD ST, LOUISVILLE, KY 40214, USA 502-361-1057
3 3320 PRESTON HWY., LOUISVILLE, KY 40213, USA 502-366-4047
4 401 W COURT AVE, JEFFERSONVILLE, IN 47130, USA
5 4136 CANE RUN RD, LOUISVILLE, KY 40216, USA 502-425-8022
Krispy Kreme (according to their official website):
1. 3920 Seventh St. Road Louisville, KY 40216-4193 US 502-448-7616
2. 3000 Bardstown Road Louisville, KY 40205-3020 US 502-451-4880
Krispy Kreme operates 3 stores in KY (2 in Louisville, 1 in Lexington) while Dunkin' Donuts operates 5 stores in Louisville (I don't think there are any in Lexington...not sure about Northern Kentucky region).
I know (from experience ) that there is a Krispy Kreme on Richmond Road in Lexington. Directions from the interstate would be to take exit 104 off of I-75 and head into Lexington. Cross Man-O-War, and K Kreme is a mile or two down the road(you'll see it on your right).
There were Dunkins in Kentucky...I don't know what happened! Where are they? There's a generic Dunkin' Donuts off exit 87 in Richmond (about 20 minutes south of Lexington). They have the same lettering and their name is similar, but it isn't an actual DD. Not certain about the quality because I've never eaten there, but I'm sure it's worth a try. Next time I'm by there I'll try to stop in.
I know there are Dunkin' Donuts in Tennessee, but I don't know about other states around Kentucky.
I already know I'm gonna be in deep you-know for this, BUT, in my humble,faultless,member-of-law-enforcement opinion, nobody's doughnuts are better than Honey Dip. Those Egyptian dudes on the corner of North Broadway and New Circle road in Lexington, have got it goin' on!
I never understood the allure of either brand, I find the small mom and pop places have the biggest, freshest, tastiest donuts around.
But I know a lot of people that go ape for DD or KK, they're welcome to them. I'll pass.
