The plethora of negative comments about Owensboro has really taken me by surprise. It's a modern ,growing city, with a first rate law enforcement community. Why all the venom? Anyway, I like it. And please, will someone explain all this silliness about O-boro not being connected to the Interstate system? Can you give me one palpable difference between the Fully Controlled Access highways serving this town, and, say, I-64, other than the name? I also like Bardstown, a small community with an amazing variety of historical and fine dining establishments.
