This was beyond sad. It was utterly pointless. All the news reports say what a nice and helpful person this chief was.

A very difficult loss for a close community.

Unhappy SAD day for Law enforcement.

I also offer my condolences for the loss of this great Chief of Police and my prayers to all the Family, police officers,citizens of Clay County.

Unhappy Lost of a good man

It is a very sad time in the world now,and everyday.Life is short enough as without someone taking anothers life and making it shorter then needed.I feel for the family and loved ones of officer Randy.This is a sad night not just for Clay Citys lost .Bu for the whole state.My prayers our with each and everyone.

Hi all, not meaning to bring up bad memories but my family and I have just recently moved to Clay City not knowing a whole lot about it and I found this. Could someone let me know what happened here or point me to a artical? is crime bad here in Clay City? only been here since 9-09.
