Default Kingsport slide shows...

The sublimely talented Earl Carter has done a wonderful job with these, IMO. My favorites are the aerial tour of Kingsport, the local farmers market and When Flags Die
Slideshows

Maybe JMO, but I think it'd be really neat if small cities & towns all over America put together similar projects to promote themselves on the Web. Things like online interviews with the locals, photo & video tours of the area, "why I love where I live" essays, and slice-of-life vignettes would definitely sway me to choose one area over another moreso than a bunch of hard, cold stats.

I think that sounds like a great plan! Maybe you should start something up? I could get you in touch with a few folks that might want to get behind that idea for here in the Tri-Cities anyway
