Moving to Tri-Cities...
It is interesting to read all these threads and see what people are looking for in the tri-city area. As I mentioned in one of my other posts, my wife and I are looking for a much more relaxed atmosphere and simpler way of life away from the stress of the metro areas around this country.
I am puzzled by some of the writers that seem to complain about the dominance of the "conservative" lifestyle of the area. This is exactly what we are looking for; a return to an area with traditional family values. If you want liberal social issues, culturally diverse lifestyles, There are plenty of places around the country to find such activities and attitudes. We do not need to add or change the communities that so many love and enjoy.
I do not knock or ridicule the more urban and culturally liberal towns & cities around this country, nor should anyone do the same with the conservative areas.
