All you have to do is Google the restaurant address: 7700 Erwin Hwy, Chuckey, TN. A map will come up; click "Get Directions" and then put in your starting JC address to obtain turn-by-turn directions and a route map.

Thumbs up Great Food!

The Farmers Daughter is great food. So is the Olde Farmhouse Restaurant. When I come back home to Greeneville it is hard to decide at which to dine! Long drive from Morristown, but worth the trip! Better than anything we have here! Keep up the great food!

I believe it's owned by the mennonites (spelling?), they bring 10 vegetabel dishes and 2 meats, plus drinks and deserts, it's kinda crazy, all of the food is brought to your table and it's all you can eat. It's basically an all you can eat buffet that is brought to your table, family meal style. The place is always packed and I can see why. I definitely recommend it.

I absolutely love this kind of service. We went to a restaurant in Georgia and they served the food this way. You don't really get to pick what you want, it's just all brought to the table and you take home what you don't eat.

Get there early.

We have only been once and went on a Sunday about an hour before closing time.

It was quite a drive for us.

They were out of a bunch of stuff that dh wanted.

I liked it, but just a heads up.

7700 Erwin Hwy, Chuckey, TN--this is the recipe for the Farmer's Daughter restaurant.

Anybody know the address for the Farmhouse restaurant that was mentioned in this thread ?

Thanks.

Default I thought we were talking about 2 different restaurants.

I am loopy. LOL.

I thought Farmer's Daughter and The Farmhouse restaurant were 2 different restaurants we were talking about in this thread.

I googled the 7700 address and saw it was for Farmer's Daughter.

So, apparently I am the one confused.

Go ahead and slap some sense into me, didn't mean to cause more confusion.

Nope, that was my mistake; they are two different restaurants. Maryanne55 asked about directions to the Olde Farmhouse Restaurant from JC, but I gave her the address for The Farmer's Daughter...sorry about that!

The correct address for the Olde Farmhouse Rest. is 35 Sentelle Road, Greeneville...phone number is or was number is 423-636-1048. The property is currently for sale so I don't know if it's still operating or not. The owner closed it temporarily last year due to health issues and then reopened in July, serving dinner from 4-8 pm Thursday through Saturday and lunch on Sunday, 11-2. FWIW, the asking price for the restaurant (a house built in 1901 and sitting on 2.46 acres) is $395K.

The farmhouse is right off the 107 cutoff which is accessed off the 107 highway. You can get on it from SR-81 or off the 11-e on the other end.

Ate there twice - I like to give a place two chances. Found the food just average both times. Won't be going back.

The store next door is worth the drive out though.
