Question Need a wholesale restaurant (food) supply or

wholesale bulk ice cream distributor in the tri-cities area. We're in the process of relocation to the area and have a mobile ice cream business. We currently buy all our 3 gallon tubs from either Costco business center or Restaurant Depot but there are none east of AZ.
We'd love to be able to continue doing events but gotta have a place to get stock (cones, bowls, ice cream etc) so any suggestions would be most helpful. I'm going to bet there's at least one restaurant owner or manager or grocery store person on here that will know something...

Ummm, I'm sure others will have good suggestions but have you checked out Sam's Club? Another good option may be the Stock Pot: Stock Pot

Sams unfortunately doesn't carry a quality bulk ice cream in 3 gallon tubs.

You should contact Mayfield dairy. I've seen a few ice cream shops in the area and everybody scooping ice cream seems to go with Mayfield. http://www.mayfielddairy.com/

You might try Reinhart FoodService, used to be called IJs. They usually sell to restaurants.

Do they actually make ice cream at the PET facility in JC?

Hershey Ice Cream does 3 gallon tubs and distribute to this area. They are not the same as the Hershey chocolate factory. Hershey's Ice Cream

I agree Pet Dairy is also one to consider PET Dairy - Home They have an office in Johnson City. I don't know if they make it here, but I think they used to. I vaguely remember field trips to tour them in school and they gave us a little cup of ice cream at the end of the tour.
