UPS - ship your stuff overnight UPS to the hotel where you're staying.

But if they charge that much for carry-on, how much are they charging for checked? good grief!

They typically charge $35 for checked bags under 50lbs too.

Then dont book a flight with them. Capitalism is a fairly simple concept.

If Allegiant can get away with charging $35 for a carry on, they should. If the customers quit buying tickets because of the charge, they will quit charging it. At some point they will price themselves out of the market. Until they do, they should maximize their profits. People fuss about stuff all the time- while at the same time buying the product.

This sucks. Allegiant is a great way for broke college kids and retirees to get to Florida.

You say fussing; I say a discussion of local consumer news. Maybe this post will cause people not to buy tickets, and the fee will be dropped. See, capitalism at work.
