On my visit to Bristol, a had a couple of dinners at the Martha Washington Inn in Albington (sp?) VA. The food was good and the atmosphere very relaxing.

There is a resteraunt on Watagua Lake called the Captians Table that has a nice view of the lake,but it is closed for the season as of this week .

River's Edge is a neat place, pineywoods, or it was last time I went there, about four years ago. Very rustic interior, very good food!

The web site does not do the place justice. Take it from me it is awesome! The view is un-matched imho. I have eaten there several times. From BBQ to Ribs, Steaks to specials.... you cant go wrong.
almost forgot....live music on the weekends as well.....not to bad at all!
