Default One local boy's story

Camron Carrier - Born In Bristol TN.

Camron Carrier

Camron Carrier was born in Bristol, Tennessee; his mother Toby is an artist and teacher, and his father, Gary, is a businessman. While in high school he became a sponsored skateboarder competing all over the country. His interest in film began early when he would edit home skateboard movies. His first work on a movie set was as an extra/stand-in on the 1997 Robert Altman film "The Gingerbread Man." He served in the Air Force and received medals for participation in Korea and Desert Storm. He is a graduate of Watkins Film School in Nashville Tennessee. While in school he also became involved with country and bluegrass music. He was hired as a photographer for country music legend and Grand Ole Opry member Porter Wagoner, and worked as a freelance press photographer, documenting songwriters, bands and other performers.

I don't know if anyone remembers but he was sponsored by a place called I-level in Elizabethton TN back around 92-93, big story behind this place but I won't go into it, good things came out of it.

Its nice to see a local kid make it, last year before Ride Revolution went out of business, I got to send a few guys over to an event I helped sponsor and they got to be on the local news skating before Anthony Furlong and Tos Pappas showed up. Its a small step but a big deal for a local kid to get some exposure and a big ego boost for them.
