Have you tried HomeAdvisor? You can check businesses in your area through them, (HomeAdvisor.com) but be sure to ask if they have insurance and certification before you allow them to come to do an estimate. I'm a "certified roofer" with them because I have great ratings and have performed lots of great jobs for them.

OKay, Bk2TN - I know what you mean. Word of mouth is always better than the unknown. Frankly I posted about HomeAdvisor only because they do have review pages for their contractors, and believe it or not, those reviews are actually real. modcut
