Small engine repair classes in the tri-cities? (schools, centers)

JC Schools used to offer adult classes at the vocational school, including small engine repair classes. They stopped doing that some time back. I can't seem to locate any place that offers small engine repair classes, such as repairing lawn mowers. Can anyone recommend a resource?

Judging from the issues which I see folks struggle with to get their lawnmowers repaired, there must be significant demand for talented small engine mechanics in the area. This spring it was taking my neighbors three weeks or more...including four or five trips for a mower that simply needed a carburetor rebuild....to get their stuff put into running condition.

I also see and hear the same thing about marine engine repair. Issues go back several times, including to a variety of repair centers, and still the problems are not resolved.

It will be interesting to see if anyone knows of a training center locally where some of this demand can be satisfied. If not, there is a business opportunity in the raw!
