New building at Kingsport Pavilion? (Brentwood: Home Depot, buy, construction)

Has anybody noticed there is a new structure being built in front of Kingsport Pavilion? It's up front on the smaller end of the building around where Dress Barn is. Does anybody have any idea what will be in this building?

I've heard rumors that it could be a small restaurant but nobody seems to know who is going to be there.

It was in the paper a couple of weeks ago for a building permit. I dont know if it was the exact address but it was for WT Dubois out of Brentwood i think. They have a sign hanging up at the construction site for their company. So my guess is the old one in front of Circuit City will close and this will be the main Verizon store in Kingsport. I think once the Best Buy is built this spring more restraunts will pop up in these outparcels.

Red Robin Restaurant was supposed to be in that building, but backed out on the deal. Verizon (from the stand alone store near Home Depot and Circuit City) will be moving there. The only reason I know this is because I was in the Verizon store yesterday and told this by the manager. News Channel 11 was there at the time doing a story on their move.

Thanks for the information guys. Verizon Wireless really needed a new store in Kingsport so I'm glad that they will be coming to that location.
