Default a few more pics of rural Greene County...

Though technically not a part of the Tri-Cities, the area where I walked today (NE Greene Co. between Hwy. 93 & Hwy. 75) is just a half-hour drive from downtown Kingsport. Very little traffic here, I think I counted just 10 cars in 2 hours (7.5 miles). This obviously isn't the prettiest time of the year but there's always something worth seeing...

Totally beautiful, reminds me of home. A lot of my folks live down that way in Greene, too. Thanks, kamoshika!

Ahhhhhh..,,, to see the grass and running water !! I'm in northeastern Vermont , snowing at the moment (as with MOST days) and over 2 ft. of snow on the ground..... has been that way since late November, and what a TREAT to see the ground ! Your pics are GREAT ! I know your area had such a drought last summer...... I hope you continue to get the much needed rain.

I hope to be moving down your way in the near future.

Melissa

Sigh. Makes me long for my Tennessee hills. Praying the rain keeps up a presence this year. The drought made the trees and landscapes so "sad" last year. Even with the leaves off the trees these pix are just gorgeous. Thanks, K.
