Downtown Bristol shooting - 5 dead
I am suprised no one has posted this already. Its been a sad and crazy day here in Bristol. I am sure most of the locals know about this- its been all over the news.
I think we should keep the family of the innocent that perished in this horrible event be kept in our thoughts.... This happened this morning only about 6 miles northwest of my house and 2 miles from where I work! Four are dead, as well as the shooter. Yeah, I did hear about it, but someone told me it was in Watauga, oddly. There wasn't a shooting there, too, was there?

He shot the four people in downtown Bristol, at the Edgemont Towers building on the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. BLVD and Ash St- three died on the scene and the other at the hospital... then he fled to Watuaga area and shot himself on his families property. When they found him, he was dead.

Oh, I see. What a waste. If you're going to shoot yourself, get it over with and don't take anyone else out with you.

Yeah, he should have shot himself first! How many times do we see this? Someone starts shooting, takes lives, then turns the gun on themselves. Definitely not right in the head.

So sad. My son works just a mile from where this happened in Bristol. Scary too.
Unfortunately, this "trend" seems to be happening all over this country in the past few years.

Why Hasn't it been on National News?
This kind of thing usually shows up on FOX or CNN. Wonder why it hasn't made the nationals. This is definitely national newsworthy, don't ya think?
