A little advice please? (Johnson City, Jonesborough: attorney, school, living)

Hello folks,

I'm taking the bar exam in July and have been considering a move to Northeast TN, as of late. Jonesborough has caught my eye, in particular. I've lived and worked in Nashville the last 5 years, so what I'm looking for is a smaller, slower-paced town to live in where I could make a decent living as an attorney, or at the worst drive a fairly short distance to a larger town for work. Jonesborough seems to offer both with the countyseat, hence courthouse, located there and to the best of my knowledge Johnson City is a large city that is in close proximity.

Any information on the Jonesborough area, as well as Johnson City, would be appreciated. Also, if anyone has any insight into the legal community in the area, that would be great. I've seen listings for very few in Jonesborough, and not too many in Johnson City?

Check out listings for Telford, which is a community about four miles outside of Jonesborough. As a Telford resident, I can tell you that we enjoy a very close proximity to Jonesborough as well as being part of the same school area. Like Jonesborough, the Telford area is very pretty with scenic mountain views.
