Help w/ JC Gyms (Johnson City, Bristol: YMCA, price, shopping center)

I recently moved from Bristol to Johnson City. I'd like a nice (cheap) place to work out. There was a YMCA in Bristol, which I liked.

Is anything comparable in JC?

What do yall know about Carver Rec and the other place on Legion St? I worry about the location and possible riffraff.

RC, there's a new fitness place in Piney Flats just north of JC, called Anytime Fitness. It's located at 5653 Highway 11 E and according to what I found on the Internet, low priced comparatively. 1-877-411-GYMS x 5264 If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's right on 11E between JC and Bristol, very close to JC and in a newer small shopping center on the right heading north. This website has information on what they offer. (I'm not affiliated with this place in any way...just trying to help!)

A friend of mine uses anytime Fitness and likes it.

Of course there is that huge fitness center in North JC. I doubt there's any 'riffraff' there. Then there's Fitness Solutions up on North Roan.
