Jitterbug Phone in Tri-Cities area (Johnson City, Kingsport: cell phone, work, providers)

OK, kind of a silly question, but wondering if anybody in the Kingsport/Johnson City area has a Jitterbug cell phone and how the reception is if you do.

I know from previous answers to my questions, that Alltel and Verizon work well in the Tri-cities, but apparently, Jitterbug uses their own providers (whom they say are "3 major cell phone providers" but they won't identify them), so wondering how well it works there.
