That's a bit farther east in Greene than where I grew up, but it still reminds me of home!!! Thanks, Kamoshika!

Beautiful pictures!! A perfect example of why I love living here. I don't think I'll ever get tired of the scenery.

We just came back to Telford after visiting some friends in Maggie Valley, NC. We to NC-209 back to TN-70 to the 107-bypass and 11-E home from Greeneville. NC-209 is a breathtakingly beautiful drive through the mountains.

Oh, williboy, that is my absolute favourite route in the entire world. I go to Madison, NC occasionally and generally prefer to go that way, even though I live right off I-26. Of course I was born and raised right off the 107 cutoff, so it always feels like home! Next time, provided it's not snowing, you should cut to the right before you get to 107 cutoff (actually before you come down the mountain) at the Upper Paint Creek road and come down Green Mountain road. It'll bring you down into Camp Creek and from there you can make your way out into Greystone, then Middle Creek back onto the 107. Fair warning, it's a true mountain road.

We live near this area and just love it. I do wish the gas prices would go down, but we're not moving.
