Greene County/Greeneville City high schools are okay, not as good as Washington/Johnson City or Sullivan/Kingsport (though Greeneville High [city] likely outranks some Sullivan County schools).
As far as within the county itself, Greeneville High is the best/biggest, though you'll have to pay enrollment if you live outside the city borders. Next, South Greene and Chuckey-Doak are about even, with West and North Greene rounding out the bottom-tier.

If there is anything else you need before or while you are here, just ask. Lots of great folks on here who are a wealth of information and very kind and helpful to all who are looking into the area. Be sure to come back tot he forum for a trip report too! We love to hear of others perspective of our home towns.
