How do people generally fly in/out of the area? Fly into Charlotte and take a small plane into TRI?

I'd say it'd be more customary to fly into Nashville. You can catch a small plane from Nash to TRI but it's expensive, probably cheaper to rent a car and drive.
Or if you can find a plane coming into Knoxville, that'd be much less drive.
