I've been through Bean Station, Rutledge & Blaine many times but never Washburn, as its pretty far off the main road through Grainger Co. (Hwy. 11W). But w/ its rolling countryside full of small farms, most all of Grainger Co. I've seen is quite beautiful.
Judging from this aerial photo there's really not much to Washburn. It's quite isolated, being 15 miles from Rutledge (a neat small town) and 17 mi. from Blaine: Yahoo!
