I don't miss much about Florida, but I do miss The UF Gators, sports talk radio talking about The UF Gators, and Popeye's Fried Chicken. It is the best chicken ever.

I don't mean to rub it in but some locations do a whole cajun turkey at the holidays and dear lord in heaven is it mouthwatering. Its honestly unlike any other turkey I have had and I highly recommend it.

I'm also a huge fan of their gravy and their rice and beans. My daughter prefers their chicken tenders to their regular chicken.

Here is a link to their website.
Popeyes® Chicken and Biscuits - New Orleans Chicken Restaurant Franchise

They do have 22 locations throughout Tennesee. Enjoy !

I think that there used to be a Popeye's on Stone Drive in Kingsport but it closed. Or did I dream that?

Do they serve jambalaya? I have 3 within 10 mi of my house but for some reason that have taken it off of the menu.

Oooh I love Popeyes... I have one right across the street from my office, of course I'm in Florida. I'd bring you some when we come up Thursday but I'm sure it'd be pretty cold.

I love cold Popeye's Chicken. Make it all breasts, spicey, cajun rice, red beans & rice, and extra bisquits.

My husband likes cold chicken as well. He isn't too picky though; he likes breasts, thighs and legs.
