Doesn't really matter what side of town as long as you speak spanish.
The hispanic population in Bristol is fairly large. From what I'm told by a friend that lives in Bristol, the job market there is not that good. It may depend a lot on what type of job you're looking for.

Depends on what job you are looking for. Bristol has the Tennessee side, and the NASCAR track there. We have driven through several times. There is also Kings College, and an older downtown. It could be hard to find a job just moving there though, unless you have friends/family.

Tennessee if you have a job. Virginia has a state income tax; Tennessee does not. Bristol, TN in general is a little nicer than Bristol, VA - but not always. Judging from your handle, you might be a car guy. Virginia requires expensive inspections and is unfriendly to modifications. If your car makes any type of noise, be careful in Virginia - could get you a citation.

Hispanic are not a large part of the population. Don't know where that came from.

I live in Bristol and we actually have a fairly low Hispanic Population. Not sure where that info came from. Personally (an of course this is just an opinion) I would rather have a student at Tennessee High School versus Virginia High School. This is a beautiful area and both sides of town have their assets. I prefer TN. As for work it really just depends on your education level and what type of work you are looking for. We aren't hurting as bad as some of the larger cities.

Well, that's good news for ME! And rccrain, that's a good idea about looking for work at the Tri-Cities airport! I'll have to check that out when I get there (although I THINK those jobs may be ones that those people who are already in them may not willingly give up easily, b/c of their flight benefits, and I'm sure there aren't that many airport-related jobs in an airport that size). Thanks for your input!
