Default pineywoods

pineywoods...Unfortunatly, I won't be there yet. I have read y'alls post about your get together....wish I could have been there!!! I have just finished compiling a list of all the restraunts everyone suggested on another thread so I can be sure and visit them.
I am still waiting on the name of the auth. mexican restraunt in JC?? ljay... Did you ever remember to look for the name? That restraunt is definately on my to visit list even if I never find the name...I know it is on market st and it is a small yellow cinder block building, that's a start: I will find it.

Default Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

ljay.... you are a doll! Thank you so much! I can't even tell you how many times I have rechecked that thread to see if you had posted it. I am new to the whole forum thing and just recently realized that the latest entries, no matter how old the thread, get bumped to the first page. I could have saved myself alot of trouble if I had figured that out sooner. That will be my first stop when I get there. I'm sure it will be time to eat... if not, we're gonna eat anyways. Thanks Again!!!

I think the area is lovely -the reason I wrote it off my list was due to air issues...you might want to inquire...

I don't get it. What's wrong with the air quality in Elizabethton? I never heard that before.

I know a lot of people in Elizabethton and I have never heard anything about the air. I will actually be seeing some people that live there tomorrow and will ask them in person.

I've never heard of Elizabethton having any worse air than anywhere else in the TN Valley area...

My Mosquito Ratings (10 being worst)

Michigan: 8

Florida: 11

Elizabethton: 3 - unless there is standing water on your property, you won't have any problems. I live up the road on Boone Lake - no mosquitoes. I have been absolutely destroyed by mosquitoes in FL and MI.
