Jonesborough after dark.

I will confess to stealing the pic, but I liked it so much that I thought I would share it.

Then Murfreesboro must be another pretty little town. Oh yeah, Murfreesboro looks like Jonesborough because Jonesborough was here first.

Hi 12buttons...
I have never seen Murfreesboro. I looked it up and from the pictures I could find it does look like Jonesborogh. I couldn't find alot of pictures, but the ones I did find were very nice. I seem to recall it saying something about being the center point of the state. How interesting.
I'm gonna have to check out that place when I get over there. Thanks for telling me!!!

williboy...More good pictures. Did you borrow those too?
You are such an advocate for Jonesborogh, that if I didn't know better I'd think you had lived there all your life. Way to take pride in your community!!

Christopher Taylor House where Andrew Jackson once lived for a while and the Washington County Court House. Both located right on Main Street in Jonesborough. Note the Christmas lights still hanging in the big tree next to the court house.

Yep, a lot like Murfreesboro... only with about 10,000x less traffic.

hi williboy, thanks for the pics! so, do you live in Jonesborough? that is the area we are thinking of moving to. we want somewhere with a strong sense of community, but that's still close to JC and it sounds like that is Jonesborough? the lady at the visitor's center said they do a lot of family and community events. what's your perspective?
