Default Tweetsie Trail still a twinkle in someone's eye

Yippeeee The plans for the Tweetsie Trail are still being talked about anyway...hope that hike and bike trail will become a reality in the next few years. Bike from JC to Elizabethton...have a bite to eat and a little look-see in the shops...bike back to JC. Now that's my idea of a fun day.

This is yet another positive step for JC. Here's the link to the Johnson City Press article:

Default that's what we need!

I hope it goes through... I just hope they make some arrangements for additional parking space - not much in downtown JC now, can only imagine possible needed additional space it this project happens...

Wink Keep us posted.

P.W. : Good news, keep us posted. Only good tourism comes from these eco- projects . Many people keep talking about the Virginia Creeper trail way into the South.
.. Many years ago in Poughkeepsie , N.Y. Gov had great plans and announced Greenway maps / rr bridges to use. Later nothing but roadblocks even for local clubs to do all the volunteer labor and fund raising. . We finally moved away.
