Default Kingsport pics...

Some scenes I've snapped over the past 6-8 weeks.

From a walk around Bays Mountain Lake:

FWIW, I saw black bears two of the four times I ventured up to Bays Mtn. Park in June. Both times w/o my camera, unfortunately. The first time I drove right by a mom and her cub; mama bear was standing up on her hind legs just on the other side of the road's guard rail, only about 12-14 feet from me. We watched them for 15 seconds or so until cars came up behind us. I was ecstatic, though, having never seen a wild bear in Kingsport. Spotted the 3rd bear the afternoon of 6/30 while we walked on Lake Rd. near the beaver pond. He/she huffed and ran up the hill. What wonderful and thrilling creatures to see, especially in my hometown!

Great pics. Spent last week in tri-cities looking at it as a place to retire. Got so busy checking things out we didn't get to see much but real estate.

Tsk, Tsk. Now how are you going to be sure you like life here once you walk out the door of that Real Estate if you didn't take a bit of time getting to know the area and what it can offer you? Looks like your going to have to plan another road trip.

What absolutely beautiful pics! My daughter is going to Kingsport to look for a rental house (lease). Nothing spectacular, but nice and adequate for their needs. Two kids ages 2 and 6.
