Very nice pics, Williboy.  For reference, the first is the Andrew Johnson House on the national historic site, the second is a statue of Johnson, the third is the Valentine Sevier home, and the fifth is looking down Depot St. towards the federal courthouse. |

It's kind of tricky to get downtown (where williboy posted pics from) from the real, current town of Greeneville. One way is to cut across 11-E at Laughlin Hospital and follow that road, turning left just past Greeneville High. Another way is to turn left off the 11-E at the Kingsport Highway juncture (which joins the 11-E on the right side), which is a straight shot to downtown.
