Quit that! It's 11 p.m., I just watched the presidential debates and now I'm not just politically agitated, I'm hungry to boot!

Sorry. I snacked my way through the entire debate. Yeah, like I needed that tub of Edy's... but it was good!

Sahib is still open
Sahib is still open! Sitar is the Indian restaurant that recently closed. Sahib has always had the best Indian food and will be in business for many years to come. It is located on Browns Mill Rd next to the Days Inn. Ole Chole, the restaurant that replaced Sitar has a great selection of latin american entrees that are very different from other tex-mex restaurants. Dining at either of these establishments supports wonderful local business owners and our community.

Sahib was really good when we ate there last...we'll be back. I agree with you all. It really is important to support the local, home-grown type restaurants and not just the chains. This forum is a good place to encourage that boost to the local economy.

Has anyone ate at Jack's City Grill (City Diner? something), the one that went in where Lonestar was? The last two weekends we've driven by it and it's been PACKED.

Just ate at Jack's City Grill tonight. Very good! It's owned by the same people as Cootie Brown's - same decor style. It's kind of an American place with a Southwest flair. Burritos, Chimichangas, Fajitas, Quesdaillas, Steaks, Sandwhiches, Burgers, etc... something for everyone! Lots of vegetarian options. I had a quesadilla - it came out on this giant pizza pan. It was huge! I still have 1/2 of it in my fridge. It was very good and different. DH had a chicken fajita salad - he said it was very good. We'll definitely go back!

Ah! I heard that Cootie's might be opening a new JC location, I guess it was actually Jack's City Grill. (In my silliness I was hoping for, like, maybe a downtown location or something.... alas.)
Thanks for the review. We'll have to stop by soon, maybe on a weeknight instead of a weekend!
