Thank you! I realized yesterday that I'd never actually been on the S. Holston River before, which is shameful considering I grew up practically next door to it!

That particular stretch of the river we were on (Chinquapin Grove/Hickory Tree area) is a real beaut...I especially enjoyed watching the fog roll in just as the sun was setting.

Went to Roan Mountain yesterday and saw some decent color, but nothing spectacular yet. Peak should be in another 10-12 days:

Default Better late than never???

Ok, so I have had a LOT going on lately (announcements coming soon! )
and I just realized tonight while uploading some pictures from my camera's memory card that there were many on there that I took this summer for CD but never took them off the card.
So even those these are from months ago, still want to share. So hope you enjoy, even though they are late.
