Those are wonderful, what kind of camera do you use?

I've taken a couple myself, but have only lived here since September, so I am out of the loop on where good spots are.

You have a real eye for color, space, beauty, intrigue. You ought to publish a book of NE TN photos. And to make it even more valuable, publish all the walking/hiking spots near wherever the photos were taken (including where to park.) We can't wait to take some great hikes. You've highlighted some gorgeous spots. Thanks for taking time to do this!

These pictures are wonderful! I am going to keep this as a sticky thread for a while. If anyone else wants to add their area pictures, please do so! This is a great way to "show" others why we love this area of the country so much.

Thanks, y'all. I never fully appreciated this area's beauty till I returned in '02 after being away for 16 years. I never tire of checking out new places or returning to old favorites.

Bailey, my camera's a Canon PowerShot A570 IS. FWIW, I use IrfanView freeware to edit the photos.

pineywoods, thanks for the kind words. Just holler if you ever need specific directions to hiking spots, there are so many wonderful places to explore in these parts.
