Default relocating to johnson city

Relocating to Johnson City this summer. Looked at a couple of subdivisions: steeple chase and bartons creek. Can anyone give any advise on these two subdivisions or maybe even suggest some newer subdivisions that are family oriented. Looking in 175,000 to 250,000 range. Thanks!

Steeplechase is a nice subdivision close to elementary and middle school. Also you may want to check out Lake Ridge. Its next to Steeplechase and elementary school is located in the middle of subdivision. Houses will probably around top of your price range, but very family orientated neighborhood.

Anything in the Gray/Boones Creek area should suit your needs just fine.

steeple chase seems nice - no crime, nice schools, but packed in pretty tight by my standards - not sure what your looking for. It is not gated. I will say that the entire area on Carrol Creek Rd is very nice and generally w/i your price range.

I don't know where bartons creek is? Do you have an address in the general area?
Also, can you be more specific in your desires?

Barton's Creek is in the Boones Creek area. It's about a half mile up Free Hill Road off Hwy 36. There are quite a few newer developments in most of the northern areas of the city/county. Walker's Bend in Gray seems to be building up at a good pace. It is located directly behind the new Ridgeview School (K-8).

We live in Leesburg Estates which is in the Telford area about 12 miles outside of Johnson City. We love it out here and there are homes for sale in your price range. If you don't mind a small drive, you should check it out.
