Jack's City Grill
Anyone been to Jack's yet? It's the new (Cootie Browns-owned) restaurant where Lonestar went out.
I've been there twice now. PACKED both times, and the food is delish! A+!

This is likely our next trip out to eat, hopefully it lives up to what I've heard!

How reasonable are the prices? Can you give a range of their entree and appetizer prices?
And if I'm not being too nosy, of what did you partake?

jack's city grill
i went there 3-21-09 two of us and ordered 2 sirloins, i have eat there serveral times but will not go back, when we got our food i had already run out of tea and also needed butter and a-1 sauce but i could not get our waiter to come back, i stopped another waiter and asked if he could bring the stuff and he said he would get our server, i never got my refill, butter or a-1 sauce, he did come by and handed the check to me and i started to say smething to him and he turned and walked away, when i went to pay the 35 dollor bill the casher asked me if everything was o.k. and i told her the food was good minius the a-1 and butter but the service was the worst i had ever seen at any resturant and she replied O'WELL , then i replied after that remark that i would never be back and she looked at me rolled her eyes and said O'WELL , so o'well i will never be back

We had planned on going to Jack's Saturday night too. Opted for Chinese takeout and drinks at home instead... I guess I am glad for that. I'd rather the service be spectacular and the food be so so rather than the food be good and the service be bad.
I'd call and ask to speak to the general manager, or ask for the owner's number. Things that happen like that should be reported so they can be addressed.

I would call too and describe your waitress. Every time I've been there, the service has been good (not great) and the food has been great. I'd hate to see them go under just for bad service skills.

i called today, i called cotie browns tho, i could not find there # but found one for cotie browns and asked if they also owned jack's and they said yes, i asked to speak to a manger and told him everything, he said he would relay it on to the owners, he asked for my name and adressee and i told him no, i wouldn't give it to him, im not out for a free meal. but that i just wouldn't ever be back , i have always had great service at cotie browns but that makes me wonder if i will ever go back to there seeing he also owns that place also i told him the date and time and the name of the waiter so they ought to be able to narrow it down from there by the time clocks

What does telling them you'll never be back solve? Why won't you allow them to make things right?

I have to say I agree here. The "Oh well" would have been it for me too.
